Here in Upstate New York, What is now just Potsdam State University/S.U.N.Y. Potsdam, was in an earlier life Potsdam State Teachers College, and it had an even earlier
name Potsdam Normal !

News paper clippings from the early 1900s often reported Town & Gown Weddings as straight news, with article headings like Jim Smith marries Normal girl at local church!

- All the news thats fit to Print ! Think like Fire, Flow like Gas ! PYRO - Logical big AL !

This is a good sign. They didn't have to cut the hedge down to accommodate it.

This often happens in mountainous areas where there is a lake with a town at the shore. Quite often there is a ring road that surrounds the lake. Lots of people live around the lakes and few live in the surrounding wilderness. On Lake Cowichan, near me, there are a few towns, so it's even more fun. It's 10 miles to Honeymoon bay this way or 12 miles the other way. But the shorter road has a big gravel section that is bumpy. Decisions.

That's not a bad guess, Dale!

I'd ridden from Strata Florida and was attempting to get right around the Claerwen reservoir and bumped up against all those other reservoirs on the far side, with Rhayader right on the other side of them. It was a long enough day as it was though so I never did ride all the way to Rhayader, not even the short 8 mile way...
