This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Nest.

In this Badge Bit, you will fix a baseboard trim issue (gap, ding, vinyl floor separating, etc).

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
   - fix a baseboard trim issue (gap, ding, vinyl floor separating, etc)

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide proof of the following with pictures (or a video < 2 mins long):
   - before, during, and after of fixing a baseboard trim issue
   - demonstrate it meets the above stated requirements

I piece of trim in a high traffic part of the kitchen had come loose a while back. One of the staples was missing. I removed the remaining one. I then selected two panel pins that matched the size of the original staple and fixed it back with a small hammer.

Here are my pictures.

Initially, I was going to take off the old long piece (pic 4 and following) and clean it and then reattach. The piece broke, though, so I bought new trim instead.

My previous laptop never exploded like that. Read this tiny ad while I sweep up the shards.
