This is a badge bit (
BB) that is part of the
PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in
Roundwood Working.
There’s no way for us to know how much space you have to work with, so maybe some of the
PEP projects are practical for you. Why not take down two birds with a single stone? Any PEP roundwood
project can be counted towards the
PEA badge as well. Even if you can’t get the whole PEP Roundwood Badge, this allows you to work towards it even as you succeed at PEA.
To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
Must complete all minimum requirements of the PEP BB in question.

-
Make a small compound mallet with hand tools only (greenwood head, drywood handle)
-
Carve a simple beginner spoon with hand tools
