Add a lean-to to an existing building - homesteading.straw.leanto PEP BB

I built this lean to in 2016 so I didn't know which pictures to take at the time :(  But hopefully the ones I have will be sufficient to show that I did build it.  I took many more of the retaining wall that needed to be installed to allow for the flat space below the lean to...

Per the requirements:
1.  The materials I was starting with were all purchased new.  For posts I went with untreated 2x4s and a "post saver" sleeve that supposedly will keep the posts from rotting.  As you know, a pro would probably never use 2x4s for posts.  I'd've used untreated 4x4s but they didn't come 12' long.  Time will tell if the post saver sleeves will save the posts.  No paint other than that which came on the metal roofing
2.  The building is a barn with a slope along side it.  I dug away the slope and put in a wooden retaining wall made from pallets.  To protect it from rot I used a sheet of poly and more of the post savers.
3.  The only plan I worked from was chicken scratchings on a note pad I no longer have.  But I did save the sketch for the retaining wall :)
4.  Part way through I didn't get any pictures.  Once you're into a project it's hard to stop to take photos.  I did have help with getting the long rafters and roofing on but I was the "expert" on the job and doing most of the work.

I built this lean-to woodshed on the side of a tree house (more like a stump house). This was my first attempt at doing timber framing with pegged mortise and tenon joinery. The posts, braces, and beam were milled from fir logs, and the rafters were milled from hemlock logs both from on site.
