Cleared the shower curtain and shook the rugs before I started, and surprised just how much dirt/sand/hair was lingering in the corners

Springtime comes with the kids and dog tracking dead grass all through the house, so daily sweeping is required. The grass doesn't show up great in the pictures, but the action shot shows just how much accumulates.

Love doing housework in the morning. I know if I don't do it then, I won't feel motivated to do it at any other time during the rest of the day. Feels somehow like going with the flow to do the day's cooking and cleaning just after breakfast.

sweeping the floor - realized the reason the kitchen light wasn't working had been because the broom was wedged against the other light switch. problem solved!

Let's sweep! Got so excited looking at everyone's posts, and also learned some handy tips reading the articles - even on this simple tasks! My family is laughing at me because I totally just got all hyped to sweep the kitchen corner, haha.
