I used coconut oil because that is what we always use. Its the most exotic oil the stores carry in our area! Walnut oil is like a health food thing around here so not available and I don't like to order stuff from the amazon overlords if I can help it. Yes I visit places that are a little less....down to earth. But I always forget it! So I made due and Il resubmit if its deemed unworthy 😁👍  either way my spoons needed oiling
