I would like to come up with a list of up to 500 different places or people to contact and tell about our kickstarter. I know this is ambitious, but I think that in this space it's really the more, the merrier!

Can you help me come up with a huge list of people and organizations to contact? People who fit into the permaculture, homesteading, or environmentalist categories? Big or small, though preferably big.

This could be websites, podcasts, twitter superstars, facebook pages, or a bunch of other things.

If you know how to actually get in touch with someone at these places, please get in touch with me!

Starting the list...

350.org
treehugger
sustainable human
the guardian climate section (suggested by someone already)
the savory institue
grist
ic.org
planet ark
mother nature network
inhabitat
the ecologist
r/environment
r/homesteading
r/climate
dot earth (NYT)
huffington post green
eco friend

I'll come back here and add some more. In the meantime, do you have any suggestions of places to try and share this project to?

I don't see Resilience.org on the list yet.  https://www.resilience.org/

I would also be happy to promote it on my blog, though it is tiny.

On a local front, I plan to share the Kickstarter link with NOFA and The Pinelands Alliance (I'm in South Jersey). I will check my FB groups and see who is a likely target. Is it safe to say Justin Rhodes and Jack Spirko know about this? There are some local permaculture groups I will share with on FB as well.
Counting down the hours!!!

I think the best assumption is that we don't have anyone particular on the list, even though we might. Sometimes it's the "obvious" solutions that are overlooked! So if people want to mention the "obvious" places to share, that would help too!

Shawn that makes so much sense! I didn't want to offend by naming the obvious folks.
Lyda  good call with Majory Wildcraft. Hearing her at Mothet Earth News fair is how I found Jack Spirko.
Great minds think alike!

Thanks Alexis! This is a great idea. Who else has been a part of courses that have an ongoing community of sorts?
