Yeah, I really liked the picture for this one, but that was the highest resolution I could find for the picture. If there is one with a higher res, I would most gratefully use it!

I need to find a meme generator that gives me more creative options. This was the first one I came across and it only let me enter top text and bottom text. I'll tweak the text on a better app.

Photoshop... or if you don't have (or want to pay for) photoshop, Gimp or Paint.net both work very well for basic control over meme construction.

Sorry for that confusion. Paint.net is actually the name of the program, not the location to find it. You can find a copy here.

Made these last night after I swore I was going to quit.

My teenage sons are laughing at me and my new found meme making attempts.

Would it be better for continuity to have them all say @PERMIES.COM instead of AT PERMIES.COM, even if it's in the sentence, not just as a footer/logo?

What do you think about on Mondays the dailish email could have a meme in it (meme Mondays) with a blurb about sharing it to help with world domination?

I bet that over the course of a week or two I could make enough of these kind of memes to supply a years worth of weekly email fodder!

that's a possibility.

usually these memes do best on social media - facebook, reddit, the like. so we could still do meme monday, just on facebook n stuff too.

The key is that a meme is not an ad. It is a cool thought. Sometimes a meme shows a little about how made the cool meme.

Here is a good one:

At what point should these be posted to the actual meme factory thread?

I feel like if there's an apple awarded then that shows at least one person thinks it's good to go.

I'm thinking two things might streamline this process: First, it would probably be best if there was only one meme per post. Second, agree to a system of vetting the memes; something like thumbs up if you like the idea but it needs polish and memes don't get 'published' until some staff member thinks it's worthy of an apple.
