Just a reminder to everybody that this thread is for talking about HOW to contact us.  This is not the thread for discussing stuff.

Each mention of this message you see is the response to somebody didn't understand the previous messages that say the exact same thing.   It might seem ridiculous, but it does turn out of we say the same thing 12 times, it does work - whereas saying it just once does not.

Is there at least a glossary somewhere?  What are apples on this site, and what is their behaviour?  Is there any difference between a purple moosage and a personal message?  I feel like I'm hanging around in a cult that nobody will explain.

Hi, I'm not seeing any button on the mobile website to start a new post in a forum. Can you please direct me to some instructions?
Thanks,
Alex

Hi! I'll try to add this to our how-to-post tutorial, too. My screenshots might looks a bit different since I'm making them on a desktop computer (anyone can switch between mobile and desktop view, regardless of the device they are one. Just scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Desktop View", or "Mobile View")

First you click "Forums" and that loads the drop-down menu of all our forums. Chose the one you want, and then scroll to the bottom of the forum to click "New Topic." I'll also see if we can get a "New Topic" button at the top, as I think that might be more user-friendly!

Please do not post questions directly to this thread.

....  unless, of course, the questions are about where to ask a question.

(sorry about this - apparently we are not stating this enough)

How would I contact Random Bisbee? I am interested in the Hermit Deluxe Rocket Wood Stove, but all post seem to be from 8 years ago.
Thanks.

You could maybe try PMing him? This link should send you straight to PMing him: https://permies.com/forums/pm/sendTo/82756

Looks like he might also go by Joe Chipman? I see a lot of Hermit DeLuxe stuff on TinyHouseBlog https://tinyhouseblog.com/?s=hermit+deLuxe
