You guys did an amazing job in the Shack! πŸ˜πŸŽŠπŸ‘πŸ»

The queso had good consistency and mouth feel, but yeah, add more spunk to it. 😁 I really enjoyed how thick it was.

Post #9 (3/24/21):

Thanks, Nine! I got more Shack updates coming today haha. I also have big plans for that Queso, I'm gonna give it some serious flavor.

This morning me and Dan helped Dez move some junk out from the shop into the boxtruck. The shop is becoming such a nice space to work in thanks to Dez's hard work as Shop Commander. I took some video of the shop and I'll be posting it at some point.

After the junk was moved, Dan, Nine, and I all went up to the love shack to plan out where the beds would go, how tall they would be, as well as how the electrical work in the Love Shack would proceed. You can see the before images of the love shack in picture 3.

In the afternoon we got to work getting the beds installed and the lights put in. You can see the finished lights in picture 5 and the finished rails for the beds (4) and the finished bunks themselves (6).

We had some time to kill once we got those project done, but needed to consult with some other people on the next steps for the love shack. So instead, me and Dan fixed up the ladder-steps that lead up from the shower shack towards the Love Shack. Its hard to tell what we did, but mostly it was tightening screws and adding some rocks underneath the structure to make it much more stable.

That's it for today, I'll leave you all with this lovely view of the rain moving in over the mountains (8).

The shack looks great!

Is it too late to move the stairs to the side of the bed instead of the foot?  If people are tall and their feet need to hang off the bed a bit, that ladder might be a problem.

(says the selfish guy who might be sleeping in there in June )

Once you put a mattress on it, though, wouldn't your feet be above the height of the ladder? Unless, I guess, it's a very thin mattress.

I'm worried about the lower bed.  This old fart isn't climbing down that ladder in the dark to pee
