To me, Friday 13th is just another day when the 13th falls on Friday. It just gave me an idea of something to make a topic for here on permies. And I got to spend a lot of time over on Pinterest looking for pictures to represent this day!

What? Friday the 13th falls on a Friday this month? I find it scariest when it falls on a Saturday.

Friday the 13th means my brother in law to me. He was born on the 13th, married on the 13th, his race car was #13, we had his funeral on the 13th, and he always said he got all the luck no one else was using on that day.

It's King Friday's birthday!!

Mr Rogers made King Friday XIII's birthday on every Friday the 13th, which I think is super cool if you're a kid and your birthday falls on a day that many people are bothered by.
I've always liked the number 13 (3 is good, 1 is good, prime; it keeps popping up in my life on cars, addresses, etc. My first somewhat serious job was on the 13th floor of a building numbered 1301. My boss told me the rent was super cheap, which I believe, since so was he)
Plus, IT'S A FRIDAY and I don't see how anything can be wrong with that....

It didn't occur to me to mention in the original post, that my house number end in 13.

While we were building the house, we were living at both of our properties. Dear hubby wanted to get a post office box for security purposes since we didn't know when we would be there to get out mail. The post office only had one box available. PO Box 13!
