I've had volunteer muskmelons or canteloupes etc in my garden due to the cow manure I'm using.
Hopefully your 7 won't all ripen in one fell swoop, and oddly I did find that one I picked slightly green due to threatened frost did ripen up after a couple of weeks in a sunny windowsill. So you might be able to eat them over a good long spread out time, some in the fridge and some ripening outside some more, and some ripening in a sunny window.
