What does Earth Day mean to you?

When my kids were little with did  some projects depending on what they wanted to do. I am only remembering drawing and coloring pictures for Earth Day. And teaching them about recycling.

For Earth Day, Abbey hatched out some Muscovy ducklings for me. She showed them to my friend, Terry, but had tucked them back in by the time I got over for a peek. Terry was tickled pink that he got to see them just out of the shell! He claims he saw 5. The weather's been totally weird, with snow and frost which is very unusual for April, but Mother Nature prevailed, and Abbey is a very happy mom!
