I’m super interested in finding a small bit of land that I would be able to live on in exchange for a bit of work or skill! I’m an herbalist and have an interest in starting a small herb farm where I can live self sustained - asking for nothing but the land! And of course connection (:
I’m really passionate and hard working and it’s important to me to have a sense of community but still be able to live this lifestyle that’s calling out to me.  If anyone has any tips or feedback as well I would really appreciate it! I’m currently located on the west coast but I’m open to relocating wherever the right opportunity finds me.

Thank you!!

Marina

Hi Marina,

My name is Andre and I recently relocated from Ventura county to 50 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Mariposa County raising sheep.

I am currently doing it alone and interested in holding space for an individual or couple for a work/trade agreement.

The property does not have an actual “dwelling unit” but it does have a livable barn with basic amenities, high speed internet and plenty of space for trailer hook ups.

Let me know if this interest you.

Hello,

I'm in NW Colorado, on a seasonal dairy (we make cheese).  Looking to have others help out with some tasks and add other facets to the farm.

You should also check into the SkIP framework here on permies.  Show your skill, connect with elderly land owners and maybe inherit some land!

One of the staff has a little winter challenge going on: https://permies.com/wiki/207279/skills-inherit-property/SkIP-Winter-Challenge

Hi Marina,

If you are still looking please take a a look a this:

https://tranqvillium.org

The ultimate goal of this experiment is to give the land away (for no money)  to the group of people who prove to be able to run it.
I can attest to the genuine nature of this initiative as I am one of the owners.

Contact me if you have any questions.

I'm in the PNW, between Seattle and Olympia. Look us up:  Nautilus Guild and send a PM. Space is something I have to share and I'm just starting down the rabbit hole of medicinals.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Hey! I wanted to know if you’re still looking for a long standing place to live and grow? I’m on 10ac in southwestern New Mexico with a well and solar. Looking to add 4-5 women only (want to avoid misogyny and sexual harassment) to grow a small self sufficient community on the land. If this interests you please reply and we may chat and eventually do a zoom meeting if you like!
