Gir loves the little pigges so good, and their bacon is yum-yum-yummy in my tum-tum-tummy!

Gir wants to eat bacon even more. Is waffles good with bacon? Can bacon go on muffins? On pizza? In tacos? Gir needs even more ways to eat all the bacon!

Let's quote Dolly Parton on this one - "Bacon be the key"  well I may have misheard . . . every time "Try" plays.

Savory bacon muffins are a hearty and delicious breakfast packed with bits of Hatfield Applewood Smoked Bacon and a hint of sweet maple flavor.
Ingredients
▢1 lb Hatfield Applewood Smoked Bacon
▢2 cup all-purpose flour
▢2 Tablespoons baking powder
▢½ tsp salt
▢1 large egg
▢½ cup milk
▢½ cup veg oil
▢½ cup maple syrup
Instructions
Cook bacon in a skillet or on the griddle until crisp. Remove and place on a paper towel to cool.
Using your hands, crumble the bacon into small pieces. Reserve 2-3 tbsp for topping.
Preheat oven to 400.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and bacon.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, vegetable oil, and maple syrup. Pour over dry ingredients and stir gently until dry ingredients are moistened.
Spoon batter into a lightly greased muffin tin and top each muffin with a sprinkle of the reserved bacon.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until tops are golden and toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean.
Serve warm and enjoy!

Mmmm, Gir once had bacon on donuts! Donuts are so, so yummy!!! Bacon is so so yummy! Gir would eat the whole world if it were bacon covered donuts!

Since bacon is so yummy it makes lots of things more yummy too... a little stirred into pasta, stews, scrambled eggs.

Dude Gir, what CAN'T bacon go on???

My favorite eggplant recipe involves bacon. I've put bacon (or at least Bac-Os) in brownies, and it was quite nice. Bacon bits on ice cream also works really well, especially if there is caramel....

Seacoast guy here so my favorite is Bacon wrapped scollops.

You just wrap a piece of bacon around big scollops pinning it with a toothpick and then grill.

Simple is sometimes the best dinner.
