We are finalist along with Matt Walker in the Alliance for Green Heat Wood Stove Design Challenge being held on the National Mall in Washington DC. Winner gets the cover of Popular Mechanics. Here is a quick burn of the Dragon Heater Helix, which is our entry. It has a horizontal batch box feed with glass door married to a rocket heater style heat riser.

i dont get it... pretty stove in video and on your site... nice closed design firebox with glass door... ugly example in contest with two big ugly drums...
its clear by voting results people are voting clearly on looks...

Not to worry about the looks of the Helix...when we have the efficiency and emissions of our combustion chamber proven, we are going to wrap it in some soapstone. I agree, we are taking it down to the wire.
