We are finalist along with Matt Walker in the Alliance for Green Heat Wood Stove Design Challenge being held on the National Mall in Washington DC. Winner gets the cover of Popular Mechanics. Here is a quick burn of the Dragon Heater Helix, which is our entry. It has a horizontal batch box feed with glass door married to a rocket heater style heat riser.

If you would help vote for our stove that would be great! Here is the link to vote.

Dissapointingly little information presented of the site about the competitors and their projects I thought

Not to worry about the looks of the Helix...when we have the efficiency and emissions of our combustion chamber proven, we are going to wrap it in some soapstone. I agree, we are taking it down to the wire.

I knew that guy would be trouble! Thanks tiny ad!
