I'd love it if there was some preference given to gardens in colder places.  Like locations that go below 0F every year.  The acceptance criteria of 0F at any point in the last decade allows for some pretty southern growing places (I believe Tennessee or further south even) where a much longer growing season generates more calories.

I don't have my novice eyes anymore but I wonder if people contemplating this project can easily find all the rules and recommendations and also if the squishiness of what makes it and doesn't make it into the movie comes across in a way they can understand.  I know Paul and Permies.com fairly well so it makes sense to me.  Would most of the newbies coming across this and getting excited about it be able to make full sense of the goals/ethics behind it?

I also secretly hope that the awesome "bleeding edge" people who did GAMCOD in 2024 get a bit of a mention or something :)

I'm thinking that the 2024 stuff will get mixed in with the 2025 stuff to make a movie.  And I am thinking that that 2024 people might show their 2024 gamcod plot pumping out even more food in 2025!

I am excited for 2025, I was saddened not to have been able to get my GAMCOD plot off the ground in 2024 but I have the plan all set now. I'll be chomping at the bit to get started in spring.
