This is the first time anyone on this thread has asked for a personal item but Violet is in need of something to keep hands warm since her gloves have holes. This morning was the first hint of snow on the hill and winter is coming fast! These sheepskin mittens in size medium would be perfect but we'd also be happy with hand-me downs. Was the CO detector in your picture reading 53ppm? If you should probably look into what's happening in that space because according to the enclosed chart you're pushing it at 50ppm. In addition children and persons who are pregnant, ill, or in any way health stressed are vulnerable to symptoms and damage at lower concentrations. Low level poisoning is kinda like stress - it takes its toll constantly and builds up.

Also I believe CO is lighter than normal air which means that it will favor the top 1/2 of the room and people in upper bunk beds will get a higher exposure.

Thank you for being willing to hand make mittens. As a knitter I know how labor intensive it can be especially if you try to make anything extra thick with double layers. I've only attempted mittens once and they turned out rather wonky. If you ever have extra yarn in your stash I would love to have some at the labs to put to good use around here. Just wondering, are you on ravelry or do you raise sheep?

Anyway my measurements are

Wrist 6"
Widest part of palm 7.5"
And fingertip to wrist 7.5"

Thanks for the heads up Rufus! We have the CO detector mounted up high and obviously I think the levels are highest right after we cook. I will keep an eye on it from here on out and see how long it takes to dissipate.

Tom Rutledge I appreciate what you are doing so much. You are really awesome! I think that these were meant to provide inspiration for building a sauna here. I think that that may happen at some point this winter we will see though.

1) You are quite welcome, it is what I can do to help.

2) I figured the live traps would offer an option that didn't leave a red ochre mark across an earthen plaster and might be less dangerous for animals other than the targets. Cuz' I was looking at bear traps first, then I remembered the overall design goal of not taking limbs off of animals and people... they said design restrictions helps simplify the design process... yah, but then there are no bear traps, how fun is that?

3) Conflating generosity with a productive outlet for retail therapy, I'll take it... twice.
