A lot of people are making them themselves. It is a lot easier than making a steel bike since one of the big problems there is heat distortion. Since they are glued together, they don't have that problem and are much easier to get right.

It seems to be a brilliant idea. Thanks for sharing this awesome video with us.

I think they are making them in Evergreen Alabama. There was a tv show illuminating some company going green with a variety of projects and a bamboo bike production was amongst them.

Oh, my gosh! This is awesome! There are Bamboo Bicycle Kits that for making do-it-yourself bamboo bikes! I think this is pretty neato!



And there's a cool story about the Life Cycle ride, which was done on a bamboo bike.



Slightly off topic, but I think this wooden bike is pretty cool, too!
