POST 580 (DAY 590, Tuesday, 2022.03.22)
[Morning Entry]

…… grateful for adaptability.. it isn’t in the familiar things by which I find solace or comfort.. I guess I find a peace instead, in the knowing that I can adapt to almost anything, within reason..  it’s not forever.. it’s just for now..
……the game is meant to be played.. it’s meant to be fun.. someone else made the rules to the game.. so adaptability is a prerequisite.. to maximizing the harmony of the game..

…… grateful for amazing experiences that “contrast” the regular 9-5.. I’ve never been much of a “resourceful” person.. so to have landed on such an opportunity just astonishes me.. I’m the luckiest guy in the world.. in my book.. ;) ask and ye shall receive

…… grateful for perseverance.. unicorns and rainbows aren’t my goals.. though they can be an especially nice bonus.. perhaps the real reward is the awareness that I need not carry the stresses that pass through.. I can choose to let go of total control—or at least the notion of total control.. a release of distractions and an embrace of focusing on the ONE thing.. and then the practice of refocusing and re-forgiving self.. through each breath of fresh air, the world is refreshed and perspective renewed (as a child)—when there is the practice of focus.. things and thoughts sometimes gradually weigh us down.. and blessed are those who persevere.. this offers me a sense of peace..

POST 584 (DAY 594, Saturday, 2022.03.26)
[Morning Entry]

…… grateful for early mornings.. there were days when I’d sleep AFTER watching all the tv that I wanted to.. because that felt like “freedom”.. then the next morning was painfully filled with regret of last night.. and waking up was a bane.. desperate and lost, as to what my freedom actually was—this was my story on repeat for years..  I needed a guardian to guide my bedtime.. it’s so logical now: waking up early is easy if I simply stick to my bedtime.. instead of indulging in tv later into the evening hours, I’d be PREPARING for an amazing rise and shine.. and if I want to indulge in tv, I could do it first thing in the morning.. doing my favorite things first thing in the morning.. “start your day before the day starts you..”

This week we got to see water at the lab.. and gardened each morning.. what an incredible experience..
