[Morning Entry, Ps T-64]
SKIP Day 3
…… grateful for this opportunity.. seen many folks come through and leave.. the struggles out there are familiar.. and adapting to the lifestyle here is the learning curve.. how much patience do first and second graders receive from their teachers and guides?.. I’m pretty sure it’s a lot of patience.. I’m pretty sure I took first grade twice.. The struggle out there far outweigh the challenges presented here.. I’d rather make this unfamiliar lifestyle (homesteading) into a practice until it becomes familiar.. and I believe it will take a little while.. and that it will be challenging.. this is just the beginning.. my perspective—begin with gratitude.. that’s gonna be the key and bond to an enjoyable learning curve.. to any incoming people (me included).. this is the one thing I have learned so far.. in case you haven’t noticed how my writings have changed! :)
Ps. Nothing else matters.. gratitude is the rising tide can carry all ships.. ride it all the way to your destination or let your ship propeller do the work.. which sounds simpler? Either way, good luck..

SKIP Day 4
…… grateful for gratitude.. long story short, I used to complain and whine, grumble and gripe, about anything I could.. even the really awesome things can be glass half empty if that’s the perspective taken.. and gratitude is now my practice because I was made aware that gratitude is the key.. this week I begin to remember again how it felt when I first arrived.. working on the rock patio and seeing each days progress.. soul building..

SKIP Day 5
…… grateful for team work.. yesterday eight of us lifted really big logs to become hugel scaffold members.. the communication and cooperation—that’s what Bootcamp is about in my opinion.. learning to work together side by side, and sharing feeling the satisfaction of group effort.. as a unit..

Very humbling to admit that. Gratitude is an amazing thing isn’t it
