Here is my submission for the Hem Drapes or Curtains BB - Straw Level - Textiles Aspect.

I had a single floor-length panel of sheer curtain so I cut it into two pieces and made a pair of window-length curtains for my bedroom.  They are sheer with embroidery.
I cut the panel in half and sewed the flounce and curtain rod space into the second piece.  I hung them to measure the finished length then did a regular 1" rolled hem which I did not like so I undid it and did a (nearly) invisible rolled hem (instructional video link)

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
- hem a pair of curtains or drapes

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pictures or a video (less than two minutes):
 - curtains or drapes before, during, and after performing hemming
 - after pictures must clearly show that both panels of the pair of curtains are matched in length and are even as related to their environment

We've been turning our spare room into my daughter's room, and she picked out curtains for it...but they were too long!

I hung the curtains from the curtain rod and placed pins at the floor level so they'd reach to the floor. Then I measured two inches above the pins and used tailor's chalk to mark a line. I cut and pinned the hem on one curtain, and thought, "What if there's a badge bit for this? I better take pictures!"

When I realized that there might be a badge for this! You can see the curtain is way too long for the window!

Next, I aligned both curtains to double check that they were both pinned at the same length. I also measured with a tape measure to get them both at 81 inches. Then it was time to sew!

Measuring the length to ensure they're the same before cutting the second curtain.

Marking 2 inches up from the bottom for my cut line

Both cut and pinned

It's hard to take a picture of curtains when it's bright outside! But, both sides match, and my daughter is happy.

Apparently, the picture I tried to take of me sewing didn't actually take. Here's a picture of the stiching and the matching hems
