Approved submission
Here’s my BB submission for sewing a doll. I modified the design from “Gingermelon’s Embroidered Animals” to make an elf as a Christmas gift for a friend. Materials are cotton fabric, cotton thread, cotton embroidery thread, and wool roving.

Thanks for the BB! The doll is dressed, be-wigged, packed, and sent to his final destination as a Christmas gift. I can’t resist showing off his duds though, so I took lots of photos before taking him to the post office.

Submission flagged incomplete
I tried to scale down this dino pattern. I shrunk it too much. I had to adapt the arms and legs a bit, too small to turn.

Note: Great attempt but as I read the instructions, I would expect all four limbs to be stuffed with natural materials - some of your materials look like non-natural materials

Dave, I'm worried that your stuffed dino might fall apart at the seams, especially if played with. Did you do anything to protect it from fraying? I know that I used to sew pillows and pouches with tiny seam allowances...and they fell apart at the seams. Did you do anything to prevent this? I tried zooming in on your progress picture, but I couldn't see the stitching.

This was may test for shrinking a pattern down, I was planning half size, but made quarter. When I make a bigger one I'll post it.
It did seam a little flimsy with just machine stiches so I went back over all the seams with a blanket stitch. You can't see them as well in the original pic I guess.  And the non-natral mesh material in the stuffing pic is the bag I keep quilt scraps in. I didn't even think about how it looked in picture.
