Paul...it must have been hard to open this door to the world...

I'm glad you did though.  There's a lot of compassion and good energy coming from this thread.

Following a plan that's best for you and your health and with an in house support group there at home base you're bound to succeed.

Permies has the most amazing staff these days at the forums...I think that alone is a blessing for you to be able to focus on healing.

Sending thoughts, prayers and all those good positive vibe things

Dear Paul,
Thank you for your hard work to take excellent care of yourself!
Regardless of your success at "eliminating" the cancer, (our bodies generate and resolve cancers all the time) clearly you are already living both longer and better than you were before you discovered Tommy. Congratulations!
The longer you live, the better for all of us.
I wish you great success in gathering your people. You've been working towards this a long time. May that dedication pay off.

Paul,

I'm so sorry you're dealing with that! Cancer runs in our family too, regardless of diet, location, lifestyle choices, etc. It sucks so bad. It's been really painful watching my brother deal with it this past year. And hopeful as he's found treatment and protocols that help. I'm glad you're also seeing progress.

I hope you feel the love and support around you.  And I wish you patience for dealing with everyone thinking they know what will cure you, why this happened to you without knowing your story, and how you should live your life. Good for you for continuing to learn, adjust and live as you choose.

Sonja

Paul, I'm sorry to hear your news, but glad that you are making progress on your own terms. Asking for help when you need it is hard, when one might think they "should" be able to do it all alone, and especially when the ask is something simple that you just can't quite bring yourself to do sometimes. I just got help filing my taxes last night, and while I went to the store to get one bag of groceries for dinner, it got done... but I could not do it. I even ended up re-heating something from the fridge instead of cooking what had just I bought. Sometimes you need backup, and a backup plan is good too.
All I can offer is encouragement right now, to you Paul, and those who have and will come to your aid.

Read through the posts here. Praying for you as I read. I'm happy for you as I read your oncologist gave you a good report! And happy that you say what you are doing is working !! Also glad that you are reaching out and are finding many supportive folks!!! I do wish that I lived closer. I would gladly bring you meals that fit within your chosen diet. Boredom with food definitely is worth the effort to combat

This is when the word "shit" rings loud in the mind.  I can only say in response that you are in Fran's my heart and prayers Paul.
It is an emotional journey at best.  Total admiration for stepping on the stage of life and sharing something which is no doubt deeply personal.

Sorry to hear of the turn in the path of your journey. It sounds like you are correcting it on your terms. I would suggest ozone therapy and Quantum touch healing to add to your arsenal. They are cheap or free and so effective. I wish that I could come there to help you, but my mom needs my attention currently. I hope that some of healers in your circle arrive to help soon. Community is so important regardless of circumstance. Looking forward to reading more of your progress. I may just get through on that paywall.

To be equally vague....

Not because of you, but because of the type of thing you're going through, I started a 4-5 year plan 9 months ago to career change, starting with a four year schooling commitment.

Money is coming forth to you again!  Stay strong Man in Overalls.

Thank you Paul for sharing. Wishing you a steady healing journey with stronger health by the day.

I'd like to join the conversation in the private blog, but can't get past the pay wall because it's set on US only (I'm in Europe).
Is there a way around this?

All the best,
Nina

Hey there, Paul! I had quite a scare a few years ago with a similar experience… My life turned into growing wheat grass, doing shots and eating a lot of sprouts… I also did infrared sauna amongst other things… I was able to dissolve a growth about the size of a quarter, and only three weeks… Although I was not part of any of the medical field… I used only herbs… I would love to share my process with you… My son and I were planning on coming and renting the dog star this summer… So this could be perfect alignment?

Hi Paul,
I am sorry to hear about this.

I have found myself in a situation where I have to indefinitely stop work on my own food forest and my entire life has been paused until I receive news on how to move forward (I'd be happy to elaborate in a more private way of communicating).

Until then, I am available for labor and support and am actively searching for an opportunity to continue regenerative food forestry work. Perhaps we could chat about your needs and what's available? What is the best way to connect?

I think anyone who is genuinely interested in pursuing the option of joining Paul in this health-promoting community should spend some time with these threads:

permaculture bootcamp
The SEPPers program
deep roots
ant village

Hey Paul,

So sorry to hear you are having to go through all this! I hope you feel better soon!

I couldn't tell what exactly I could help you with if I came out to Wheaton Labs. What, specifically, can I come help with? Do you need help growing your own food? Help in the form of a nurse? Help preparing your food? Do the Boots need help? Do you need help with chores around your place? Please let me know so I can plan accordingly.

Thanks, Tina

#1:  cooking for myself has been going so-so.   I think I did the very best during the PTJ last year.  Kat1 was here cooking, and made lots and lots of things for me on program and I so I did really well.

#2:  help me navigate my bucket of crazy to get more physical activity.  during the PTJ last year, I got a LOT of physical activity.  Without it, my online stuff screams for a hundred hours a day of my attention and it is difficult to get to the physical activity.  I have been doing poorly.

#3:  More gardens, more paddocks for chicken, more of all this stuff.  And, yes, support for the bootcamp in general.

#0:  (most important)  build a health focused community

I like the idea that we have 20 people who give a shit about all this.  We have meals and conversations and do stuff ...   everybody moves forward.  Maybe some people sort out health stuff, some people lose weight, some people have better hair, skin, nails ....  etc.   All sorts of health stuff happens because we have 20 people here at the same time.  And then some people go after a while and others arrive.

Yesterday I saw something was going on, but didn't know what.  I posted on a thread Joshua Myrvaagnes started as a secret thread.  Today, I finished reading my emails up to yesterday's stuff and then updated my post with the following.  We were talking about Lyme Disease, so that is what I thought was going on, but wasn't sure.

UPDATE:  Ohh, I just read yesterday's email.  I am sorry Paul for Tommy the cancer.  I hope he has had an adventuresome visit, but that he is ready to go have an adventure somewhere else, and that you have a cordial farewell with him.  In my travels with Lyme, I have noticed that what is good for dealing with Lyme incidentally is good for dealing with Cancer.  Maybe it has simply to do with good healthy living and getting the body to work well.  I feel a little down that I don't stick with what I know to be the right thing to do for doing good health.  Part of it is I run out of resources, part is "hey, I am doing much better now I want to think of other things" and part is I don't/didn't have much community to do this with, your major point.  This is great that you are sharing, and I hope it comes together for the group you are trying to do this with.  It will be an inspiration for me.

I like the idea that 20 people show up next week.  Lots happens.  All of my stuff is on rails.

Months later Tommy is gone, and there are still 20 people here helping each other with heath stuff.

Years later it is still going.  Our gardens are massive.  Our values are even better.  Our community is spectacular.

I really appreciate that this thread is striving to focus on social capital and the support it can give while dealing with a topic in the realm of living capital and a little bit of financial capital sprinkled in.  The world would be a lot better place if more of us focused on building social capital with others around us.

Just coming here to say: Paul, you're a champ! I'm praying for you. You are obviously on the right track if you are seeing such wide-ranging health improvement along with the tumor shrinking. Keep it up and stay strong!

How much does your anti cancer program cost? Is there a web page where I can get a general idea of the "cooks'" dietary program?

If you buy access to this podcast for $25, you will get access to the special forum that discusses such things.
