I tried acid first, then alkali:  Warm water, vinegar and lavender oil were good for shining things; I couldn't tell whether the soap-bicarb-salt combination was much good, though.  Will have to try it again next time.

Some things were kinda clean to start with, so close-up of tap instead of full tub for before-after.

The two cleaners I used were an all-purpose cleaner and a glass cleaner. The recipes came from Raven's Clean with Cleaners you can Eat book.

All-purpose cleaner:
1 gallon very hot water
1 teaspoon baking soda
5-10 drops of liquid Castile soap
Mix soap and water until soap is completely dissolved. Add baking soda
and mix well. For the best effect, use while warm

Glass cleaner:
3 tablespoons vinegar
4 cups (1 liter) warm water
Mix in a spray bottle and use while still warm

I primarily use 3 different scrubbing brushes and a Swedish cloth. I also use a paper coffee filters on the glass and after cleaning the glass I use it to get the worst of the toilet seat before composting.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - clean a bathroom
      - before and after pics of
           - toilet
           - sink/counter
           - floor
           - tub/shower
           - mirror
      - report on what cleaners were used
           - at least 80% is completed with warm water and elbow grease
           - remainder with grey water friendly cleaners

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must:
 - post a before picture of: toilet, sink/counter, floor, tub/shower, and mirror
 - post an after picture of: toilet, sink/counter, floor, tub/shower, and mirror
 - post a report on what cleaners you used

Bathroom was cleaned with a norwex cloth, water and elbow grease. No other cleaners were used. We do occasionally use a 1:1 blend of citric acid and baking soda in the toilet but it didn't need it today.

I cleaned the bathroom for a guest who came to stay with us.
I was so grossed out by the caulk that I ended up replacing it for a BB
https://permies.com/wiki/157693/pep-nest/Replace-Failing-Caulk-Grout-PEP#2624868

I used mostly water! But for the mold in the tub and the stains in the toilet I made a solution of citric acid and Dr. Bronner’s Sal suds

I used warm water for most of the cleaning, and for the toilet I used baking soda. I know the toilet after doesn’t look that much better then before, but that stuff is stuck there, it wouldn’t come off even when my sister used chemicals.
