So, I've made some bread, but I'm not sure I'll qualify for the BB this time round, because:

The first two loaves, I measured using a set of scales with a plastic tub, then covered them in cling film before I read the rules.  I took the cling film off, and wrapped them in cloth instead, but it may be too late.

The second, smaller loaves were made according to the rules, but I only used half the ingredients, so maybe they're rolls and not loaves.

Overall, these things could combine to form a pass or fail, so I'll upload my evidence and see what happens.

Note: Sorry the rules are quite strict. Please try again without the plastic.

So the two plastic-free loaves are too small?

Note: Well, I saw the word plastic & stopped there. Didn't even noticed the 2 small loaves. They look bigggr than rolls so will allow some leeway this time. In the future please read the requirements carefully. Thanks.

Note: The breal looks great. However this BB requires pix of a slice from each loaf. Please add that picture when the 2nd loaf is sliced or try again.

I made 2 types of beer bread. The first is according to the recipe I will post in the pics. The second omits the cheese and jalapenos and replaces with 3 TBSP lemon juice and the zest of one lemon, sprinkled sugar on the top before baking. Never made a lemon beer bread before (it was my ddaughter's idea) the batter was strange tasting but the bread is amazing.

Bread based off Laurie Colwin's bread recipe, but it evolved over the years (I've been making this bread forever)

Ingredients are:
1 kg of whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of fast-acting yeast (works with regular too)
2 teaspoons of salt
650 ml of warm water

Original recipe is here.

Added about two tablespoons of plantain seeds I had to use up.

Edit (whoops, inverted the two mixing pictures)

Baked some Italian bread from a recipe sent from the Gods I truly believe.

The recipe makes two loaves, which disappear fast.

Recipe is found here: https://onecrazycookie.blogspot.com/2012/07/crusty-italian-bread.html
