Out of curiosity, what do you use dehydrated rhubarb for?  Is it for pies and you just rehydrate it? Or do you use it ground up as some sort of seasoning?  I'll need to know this if I can ever get even one rhubarb to not die in my garden.

We dip the rhubarb into a simple syrup before it goes into thr dehydrator, then it turn I to rhubarb candy. It's a nice sweet, sour, and chewy treat!

That had been previously tried without success. We ended up using a small hack saw with metal blade that could reach it. Sean gets credit for that endeavor.
