This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in woodland care.

For this BB, you will grow at least one pound of oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms outdoors!

(source: Wilderness College)

The requirements for this BB are to do the following:
o inoculate at least two four foot logs with mushroom spawn
o harvest at least a pound of shiitakes and a pound of oyster mushrooms
     o this must be outdoors

To get certified for this BB, post the following:
o action shot of inoculating the logs
     o inoculated logs
o action shot of harvesting each of the mushrooms
o scale showing at least a pound of shiitake mushrooms and a pound of oyster mushrooms

Is there an option for completing this BB by using wood chips instead of logs?

Any chance of it being two different types of edible/culinary mushrooms, instead of specifying Oyster and Shitake?
