Here is the official page!   We launch tomorrow (thursday) at 2pm mountain time.

  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paulwheaton/skip-0

Note the big green button that says “notify me on launch!” - you can click on it and watch the numbers go up!  Over 600 so far!

The preview is still available here:

  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/paulwheaton/1661593545?ref=y4fvtn&token=419c9a44

Note that you have to “close” the comments in order to see the rewards.  On this page you have to click on “notify me on launch” (top-left of that page) to get the alert.

Nervous ...

I know we have 800 people waiting for this to start - and that makes me less nervous.

At the same time, we've been working toward this for years.  Plus I keep thinking about how there are people that do a kickstarter and do far better than any of my kickstarters and I think if I were smarter i would do better.  So I need to figure more stuff out.

About to find out how worthy this idea is.

Mike has made a new thread that he will roll out in a couple of hours.  That thread will be the official thread for talking about the kickstarter.

We are making lists of all the things that we need to do the moment we launch ...

I posted a thing out to facebook (I think I did - they changed everything again) ...

These are the banners I've currently made. I hope to make more, and they all need to be installed on permies/elsewhere. But, these are what we currently have. Do you have any favorites? Bill is wondering where to put which banners. Also, do you want me to make a 1000 wide banner for permies homepage, or will the 728 size fit? Thanks!

728x90 banners

450x 150 banners

150x150 ads I don't think Bill needs these. I'll be putting each of these up on permies (on left side, top, and mobile)

$1121 funder by 38 of us as I put in my order, perhaps it will hit the goal within 1 hour?

Edit about 2 minutes later, over 60 backers and over $3000 now, yeah I *think* this has a good chance of getting funded!
