These folks need guinea fowl and bantam hens. That combination is said to reduce tick populations by 95%.

I have some brain dead people living at my place who don't "believe" in electricity.

Their words . Of course they both grew up with it, but they handed the deep cycle battery and lights off to another tenant. Their van has lights and stores that they frequent have electricity as well. Fear of radio waves, goblins or something. There's a one year old kid. He can't hear any negative words. Instead of "Don't touch the wood stove", they say "Honey, I'd really prefer that you stay away from the stove if you think...because" They only eat various forms of paste. After 20 months of living there for free, very little (what I could do in a week) has been done.
