I have a backyard grape vine and this year at least 25% of grapes are damaged by what I believe is "grape berry moth." I have been reading about bagging grape clusters (e.g. tying paper bags around the ripening clusters) as a method of protecting them from pests. Has anyone tried this? Do you use special bags or just regular lunch bags?
In past years I have tried Neem as an organic pest control method, but did not really see much improvement, plus it was a lot of extra work. I would like some non-spray solution to get better (e.g. non-maggoty!) grapes.
