I nearly had a young horse I was training to drive taken down by a swan who was nesting under the bridge I was attempting to cross. Poor horse had a bit of a phobia about white geese ever since...

I almost had a heron land on my kayak by accident a week ago. The heron had a fish and wasn't paying attention. The wingspan is sick on those things.

giant birds hunting wolves is more insane than those mini weasel's that hypnotize rabbits then kill them.
I'm totally speechless.

This apparently was filmed in the Czech Repermies. Canned hunt. There is a photo series of a golden eagle hunting a white tail deer in Illinois. The eagle slashed at the deers hindquarters causing wounds but the deer escaped. When I walk in the fall or summer I usually look down for copperheads, yellow jackets . I am going to keep an eye on the sky now.

Staged hunt? Poor puppies. I like the part on the video where the wolf grabs the attacking eagle and gives it a good kill shake. Just before it gets attacked again. And rips at the second eagle.

Bald Eagles attacking humans is known to be a problem in Alaska.

I guess that they think we eat too many of their salmon.

i been swooped, when I got too close to a nest tree.. the noise of the bird swooping was enough to make me vacate..

We had an Eagle swoop down out of the sky and try and grab a baby lamb in the pasture, but our Great Pyrenees ran across the field and was able to chase off the Eagle, almost catching the Eagle in the process. If Katie and I had not been right there to see it, we would have never known.

To date, our only predator loss has been a lamb that was pecked to death by a crow. It had just been born on pasture, and the crow was pecking at its bloody umbilical cord.

No eagles here but my great pyr grabbed a peachick once and that Mama peahen about ripped his eyes out. Her peachick was fine and that dog doesn't mess with them now.

So far as I can work out, reports of people being killed by swans turn out to be the person was in a kayak, knocked out of it and drowned.  Same with a report of a swan killing a dog in  this country earlier this year - the swan flapped at the swimming dog which went under and drowned.  I've never quite believed that thing about "they can break your arm with their wings".

I don't know man. I've been about knocked senseless by a flapping turkey trying to get it in the kill cone before. Surprisingly strong wings! I imagine it'd probably break it's wing before my arm though. Probably could break my nose no problem.
