When I approve someone else's BB submission, I get +1 BBV.  I've never approved a BBV anonymously so I don't know what result that would have.  When I review someone else's BB submission and determine that it doesn't meet the requirements, I choose the review option to flag the submission as incomplete, provide the reason and choose the BBV penalty. When I do this anonymously I noticed that I did not get +1 BBV for reviewing the submission.  Is this because anonymous reviews do not get rewarded with +1 BBV or because only approvals get rewarded with +1 BBV or is this just a bug in the system that needs to be fixed so that any review regardless of outcome and choice of attribution is rewarded?

Good question R Parian. I sent out a request for further input from someone who might know the answer.

Great Question,
I went and looked at my BBV since I've done a couple of edge and rejections (usually anonymously) and find only "Approve BB" as the comment for the +1.  I'm curious and agree with R Parian - I often spend more time on rejections than on approvals but also see the value as it relates to PEP1 (et al) certification.  Looking forward to clarification.

Note: I just approved a Natural Medicine BB anonymously and got a BBV +1 so it does not look like it is the anonymous part of BB certification submission.
