new category: the cider press

Please remember, there's a moderate set of troublesome topics that belong only in the Cider Press.

People with permies pie and enough apples can post in cider press - a good way of keeping away trolls......

and if you feel strongly about a subject (we call them 'hot button' topics) that's a good indication that cider press is the place for discussion.

I can sure empathize with North Americans these days - it seems to me as if politics is worming its way into every nook and cranny!

But remember folks, the only safe place to discuss things involving politics is the Cider Press. As Nancy said above, let's keep the trolls away from this wonderful permaculture site.

Apparently 'climate change' is still a contentious subject - cider press only, thanks!

It's a safe assumption here that people already know what's wrong with....incert problem of the week. They are sick and tires of how most of the internet wastes time talking about the problems and how wrong it is, that no one has energy left over to talk about real, practical, everyday solutions.

The cider press is a place where problem focused discussion can safety happen.  But be warned, most people here are too busy focused on solutions, it doesn't get the same sort of interest problems get in other social media.
