Back in 2014, Kristie and the kids made wofati gingerbread houses!

Some of our ant village folks are requesting that we make these (or Oehler-style gingerbread houses) this year! I'm in!

I'm thinking we could use a peanut butter play dough as a type of cob, large pretzels as the logs, regular pretzels for junkpole fences, chocolate rocks, coconut dyed green for grass (veg dyes of course), icing for snow, licorice tubes for RMH building....what else am I missing?

This is a link to watch one of myvfavourite people making a gingerbread dream barn that she would like to build as a therapy centre for her work with children and adults with special needs. As Tim says, they are going to need a lot of smarties to make the full size barn!

I showed my wife the Serenity pic and now she loves Paul too! (I'm still working to fully convert her to being a Permie, so I appreciate the help! She's fully converted to being a Firefly fan. She loves Gir too, so there is hope.)

After looking again I just realized the Tardis and Dalek above are not gingerbread!!! They're graham crackers. So I had to try again. I love this one especially because of the crossover quote :)

Those are all great gingerbread houses! Anne, I love that you started a thread on how to make gingerbread houses with those recipes.

I some times read this hilarious blog called McMansion Hell. Well, lo and behold, they had a McGingerbread Hell competition!!

I've done houses, castles, a tie bomber (structurally challenging that one) the Pyramids and a lighthouse, for some reason the lighthouse is the only one I have a picture of All suggestions for this years effort greatly recieved.
