With the rapid proliferation of AI, the ability to modify and generate photo quality pictures is far easier than in ye olden days of Photoshop. While some people think this new tech may usher in our inevitable extinction, it is good to know that some people are wasting no time putting it to the best use possible: comedy. I've been seeing lots of pics around the web that I find absolutely hilarious. With all the worry of computers replacing artists and such, I find the creativity being brought to bear as a result of this new AI quite refreshing. It is all the more amusing to see AI's often child like interpretation of prompts. I just thought I would create a place to share some of the honorable mentions that can be found in cyberspace.

There's currently a lot of hype about a possible martial arts match between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Imagine if they decided on peace instead (and decided to move to Mars and start a family together):

How do you get AI to generate these for you?  Is there a place to just enter your prompt and get an answer?  Or do you have to pay for an app to do it?

There's different ones. Bing has an image creator which I assume is free. Midjourney seems popular with the more realistic ones. I haven't tried any myself yet, but I need to, lol.

I have a Midjourney subscription. Here is a Twitter (or whatever it is called now) thread I wrote with some of the funny things it has generated for me https://twitter.com/FocalPointArt/status/1656963555697250304

This is an interesting one. It is a meme generated by AI. I do not know the prompts used or anything else about it. Something I noticed in the comments on many of these memes is people saying things like, "Is it weird that I'm able to understand AIspeak?" I've noticed the same thing myself. I don't know what is at play. I guess there is just some sort of rhyme and reason that the human brain is able to subconsciously decipher, similar to how we can easily read words as long as the first and last letter are correct. It's interesting how each statement starts with the word "women," yet it chose two different spellings. It does the same with "Lizzo." Also, the two statements make sense as a meme and fit the pictures fairly well.

Think this belongs here. Would be happy to be proven wrong:) Found it on a popular site a few months ago and my first thought was "how could they possibly fake that back then?" Snagged a copy and forgot about it for a few days. Did some searching and found it had not been posted on the open web. (It has since) An AI detector site suggests 73% chance human 27% artificial. But warns that it can only be reliable if it has trained on the output of that particular AI algorithm.

I had some fun with this last fall. Don’t remember exactly the prompt I put in for this one, but it feels relevant to me.
