Rion, you are so kind....is that Neil's "Harvest Moon"?
Have you heard the album "Mirror Ball" with Pearl Jam morphing into Crazy Horse? LOTS of good tunes...If you get a chance listen to the whole thing. If I had to pick one song a fun one is 'Downtown'.

Yes, it is! I LOVE Neil Young! This one represents the essence of nature to me...when you are floating out on your own on a remote lake...

Is that who did the original? mid seventies? or is it an old song? I've had it going through my head ever since you posted...except there (in my head) it is more like a Monty Python version...similar to 'I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK'......

Hi Judith,

This is what Wikipedia has to say about the tune:
"In Heaven There Is No Beer" was originally composed as a movie score for the film German "Die Fischerin vom Bodensee," 1956, by Ernst Neubach and Ralph Maria Siegel.

I have a feeling it was based on much older folk songs of Germanic origin.
