Actually no! We got some bark mulch from a lumber mill and I’m guessing there were spores mixed up in that.

Any idea if there is a main tree species they are running through that mill?  Is the mill producing standard dimensional lumber and which conifer tree species in the area would they probably be using for that?  Thanks!.....

I don’t have a lot of info about that mill, I’ve never been there myself, but my best guess would be that’s it’s mostly pine. That predominates here.

Hey Magdalene!

I'm Cory, I've just made it through your whole journal in anticipation of my arrival in a couple weeks, what an insightful tool it's been. Thanks for keeping up with it. I'm off to tackle Dez's next!

Seems like there is never a shortage to learn and do, something I can't wait to take advantage of.

Just wanted to introduce myself and maybe open a dialogue if your time permits, I have tons of questions that I think could be answered best by y'all that are there.

Is there a dedicated forum/group chat that the boots use to communicate?

As an aside, that spider you found yesterday is a Male Southern Black Widow, harmless and beautiful, great find!!

Can't wait to be on site meeting everyone soon. Take care!!
