I found out it’s called woodland stars (Lithophragma)
I had been thinking they looked like little stars.
Interesting bit of info I found on Wikipedia:
“Lithophragma specifically coevolved with moths of the genus Greya, who pollinate and only lay eggs on Lithophragma plants.”
