This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the
PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in
round wood woodworking.

This BB is the building of a shaving horse.

A shaving horse (Sometimes called a shavehorse or shaving bench) is a device used to clamp wood tightly in place against a pulling force while working with a spokeshave or draw knife. It allows for quick release and reclamp as you work the greenwood.  It is somewhere between a vice and a bench.

  - Your chunks of wood that you are starting with
  - Progress about halfway through, with the hand tools you have decided to use for this
  - List any power tools you used (Otis would love it if you only used hand tools)
  - Final product
