This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP Curiculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Homesteading

In this Badge Bit you will set up an equipment file for owner’s manuals and other equipment information.

What does that blinking light mean? If only I had kept my owner's manual in an easy to access file like the one you're about to make.

Some inspirational media:
All about organizing manuals

To complete this BB minimum requirements are:
-Set up a file system that accommodates at least ten owner's manuals.
-Must implement some system for easy reference i.e. alphabetized or by category

To document your completion of the BB, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
-your disorganized manuals
-materials you will use
-filing system midway through construction
-new filing system in place with room for at least ten manuals
-show your reference system

Found a new home for all my tractor and car manual. We had a old broken metal cabinet, and it will be perfect to repurpose for a Owner's Manual storage center.

Marked on the outside is what the manual is for, the from left to right is Tractor, Tractor stuff, Equipment stuff, and then Car stuff. I have a few more manuals waiting to be printed out and added,

This has already been useful when needing to quickly look up a part that broke on the bailer.

thanks

It was time to organize the manuals in the closet. I contemplated what to store them in, and settled on a hanging file folder box. I'm sure we will add more categories at some point, but this is a good starting place.

I don't like that guy. The tiny ad agrees with me.
