This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Natural Medicine.

For this BB, you will create an infusion of alfalfa leaves or flowers. Infusion is a method of extracting desired compounds from plant material by steeping the material in hot or cold water, depending on the plant and its attributes.

To show you’ve completed this Badge Bit, you must post:
- a picture of your plants being harvested
- a picture of the infusion being made
- a picture of the finished infusion

I looked up on the internet how much alfalfa to use and everywhere I looked said 1 teaspoon, although that looked pretty weak. I added a little more and some more hot water. I think I didn't chop up my dried alfalfa fine enough to fit properly in a teaspoon.

I harvested and dried the alfalfa for this BB.

Finished infusion. It tastes a bit weak so I think I'll use more next time.
