I use a damp cloth for nearly everything - just hot water and elbow grease. I dry and polish with an old linen tea towel.
For areas that need a little extra help I use a homemade all-purpose cleaner.
* 60ml white vinegar
* 150 ml water
* 40 ml surgical spirit (alcohol)
* 20 drops of essential oils
* 300 ml glass bottle
From “Clean and Green” by Nancy Birtwhistle
I spray it under the rim of the toilet when I first start cleaning the bathroom, leave it, and then when everything else is done, scrub with the toilet brush.
I also use it on the mirror if I think it needs it. It’s good at removing condensation streaks.
Mostly the cotton cloth and water are what’s needed. Sometimes a little crud needs scraping with a thumbnail. I use the brush around drains and faucets and in the shower’s grout lines. Vinegar never goes on the granite or in this toilet, but can be used elsewhere.

Dirty sink and counter. The counter just gets flecks of toothpaste and is super-easy to wipe clean. The sink takes a little more work.

Our bathtub has two points of grime: on the top surface where the cats walk, and then about 2-3 inches below the top on the inside where the waterline is during our soaks.

A quick wipe with vinegar and water takes care of both. Inside takes slight scrubbing.

The elephant in the room. Our fancy toilet rinses itself after every use, which is great, but it doesn’t reach all surfaces. And the bowl below the waterline gets grungy too.

Clean. My wife uses a couple brushes to avoid touching poop flecks but I just go in with a rag and wash up good after.
Cleaning my bathroom with little rags, vinegar and water and lemon essential oil for the mirror and sink surface, hand soap and water for the toilet and tub. A little concentrated castille soap for the icky toilet bowl. I even get out the toothbrush for cracks.

lemon oil, vinegar, water for the mirror. eek, it's dirty
Cleaned the bathroom this evening. My bathroom is small and has a weird layout, so it was hard to get good angles for pictures. Hopefully these work! There were a few spots in the tub that I had to scrub with a baking soda and water paste and a bristle brush, but everything else was done with hot water and a rag.
I'm not sure what's going on with the stripes in the after pictures. I think something might be going wrong with my camera...

With the pattern of the carpet it's really hard to see that I cleaned it at all.

It doesn't look like that much of a difference but I was surprised how filthy the water got when cleaning!

Most of the mess in this bathroom was dust and food particles from cleaning up my baby who likes to feed herself. I cleaned mostly with water and a t-shirt rag. I used a little vinegar on the floor and toilet.
Edit: I uploaded the after photo of the sink twice. I've fixed it and included the before photo. And I forgot to mention the cleaning supplies.
