Paypal returned error 10417, which means your credit card on Paypal failed bank authorization. Odds are that your card didn't have enough credit, or it was expired. Can you please try with another payment method from your paypal wallet?
I keep getting the same reply that Al Miller was getting Tried to purchase the "gob" through Paypal but received that error message. Tried the first time using Paypal credit then tried again using our bank account. Logged into Paypal without problem but when clicked to complete transaction then received error message. Tried also to purchase Jacqueline Freeman's video on bees and received the same error. Must be something on my end but can't figure what it could be since I use Paypal on other sites with no problem. This was within the last half hour or so.
This time, when it gives you the error message which says something like "Contact us at forums AT permies DOT com with what you were doing when the error occurred along with the date and time (Jul 14, 2017 12:39:17 PM).", note down the timestamp it shows. Then please reply to this thread with that timestamp.

So I purchased the gob a while back and have been working my way thru them but I've just hit a road block.
I forgot my password and needed to sign in to download another chunk so I reset the password and now I keep getting kicked back to the login page when I follow the original e-mail link from my purchase. (April 20, 2018)
I'm assuming the resetting of the password did something that makes me not able to access it anymore?
Help?
Also, podcast # 184 seemed to be missing all but the first 10 min or so. The rest was just silence?
So when I follow the link in the e-mail it takes me to the page which has the blocks of podcasts to download.
I click on one of the download links listed and instead of it starting to download on my phone. The login page for permies appears. I log in and it is accepted and takes me to the page that shows all the forum options.
When I go back to the e-mail link to get to the podcast download page it starts all over again. Or if I use the "backup button" on my phone to get back to the podcast download page and click on one of the download links it again takes me to the login page.
For the 184 podcast, the link you sent had the complete recording, either for listening online or when I downloaded it. I deleted the one I had downloaded before already in preparation for downloading a new chunk of podcasts so I can't compare them.

I'm learning so much and getting ready to make the leap to a new property (out of CA) to set up in a permaculture designed manner as our "retirement farm". I never would have even thought it possible without all the info that you have shared.
In the last 48 hours we had a new problem pop up with our servers where people were getting logged out randomly. I think they found the problem and it will be repaired in the next couple of hours.
As for the glitchy file in the zip, I am asking adrien if he can repair it - but he is particularly busy now, so it might be a day or two. But it sounds like you are already set in that department.

My first thought was that I can fix that quickly! And my next thought is that it would be cool to offer the much newer and higher quality video "Building a Cob Style Rocket Mass Heater" - would that be okay?
I would have to trust you as to the best choice. I havent seen either one so cant make a determination. Does the rocket cob video have some of the fire science discussed also?

You should now be able to see the cob style video in the first post when you are logged in. And I removed the reference to the fire science dvd.
To answer your question: no, this video has very little about fire science in it.
