……. grateful for a warm bed again.. and air cleaners.. the smoke from the fires plus this crazy flu cold thing that caught me.. a bit of brain fog; and a bit of loopyness.. the past couple three days have been a blur.. so it’s an eclectic batch of photos..

……. grateful for relief.. hopefully the major symptoms are gone now.. yesterday I was too dizzy to hold my head up.. had not felt that in a while.. feeling better now though..

2 types of wasp nest. The large one is paper wasps and the small round ones are yellow jackets. The paper wasps seem to have wone the dominance as they often do. Even though there open nests are not very defendable They have the advantage of being able to start earlier with there sisterhood. The yellow jacket queen has to gather food for her worker larva and can not stay there to keep the paper wasps from eating them. If the yellow jacket nest gets enough workers they will rob the paper wasp nest. Because I provide habitat for the paper wasps they dominate my farm and I have not had any yellow jacket nests for three years.
