Help me convince Paul that May the Fourth should be a Half-Assed Holiday

So Paul is a fan of "half-assed holidays" in which the boots get a half day of bootcamp time to work on a useful, hopefully fun or soul-building, but not necessarily high priority, project.

May the Fourth is tomorrow, and some of us have come up with the thought of setting up our outdoor kitchen area for the summer during a half-assed holiday tomorrow afternoon.
We'll then utilize the space as a cantina and drink virgin mai tais while we cultivate mushrooms.

But we need more useful things to fill this time.
Paul's half-assed holidays are really fleshed out with useful tasks and he wants the same for this one.
Another consideration is that in order to make this an annual event, the tasks should be something we can do every year on May the Fourth (rather than a one-off task such as building something we've been needing).

And it should be in line with the theme. I'm not a huge star wars person so I need your help coming up with more relevant ideas.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking of the Ewoks, and their cute wooden homes up in the trees



Maybe part of May the Forth celebration would be doing cool woodland stuff, like making wooden bridges, junkpole gates, maybe even a fort in a tree.

I'm also thinking of how Luke Skywalker grew up on a moisture farm. So, maybe pond making or other rain harvesting stuff would be good?



Isn't there a few times when Luke has to repair electronics? There's a lot of electrical stuff (like Luke's new arm, and lightsabers, and pretty  much all of Darth Vader, etc), so maybe there could be electronic repair. Or maybe just fun innovating--everybody finds a problem and tries to create an innovative solution to it?

The moisture farmer theme might also work for this time of year, for spring runoff mapping. Is this the best time for seeing where current water flows on the property? Mapping that out might lead to ideas of pond placement for retention into summer, and spots to avoid when building new structures. I've been looking at topo maps as part of Alan Booker's Observation for Design course, and next year this time I hope to be well under way for building my own wofati up on the lab. I've seen old pics where seasonal water got some plots very wet, and I hope to avoid that when it's my turn!

This can be a yearly event because each years differs in snow pack and rainfall, and waterways can evolve as they dig along. Hopefully ponds and swales will get established and that will definitely affect water flow, so each year the map is refined.

Are the property boundaries marked in any way, perhaps trees on Paul's side of the line are tagged for example? Maybe that would be something for another day.

Setting up, maintaining and un-winterizing rain water collection systems?

Rocket mass heater maintainence / repair? Fire wood prep? If you can't hang out a nice warm house, what are you gonna do? Hunker down in a tauntaun? Don't let that happen to you. (They're Luke warm at best.)

Thank you all so much for your responses, it was greatly appreciated. On Tuesday we did use the afternoon to inoculate mushrooms (they look other-worldly, right?) as well as build a fog harp.

The fog harp has thus far collected zilch but we're going to shift it around and try some different spots.

We also set up the patio for outdoor cooking and seating and enjoyed vegan cinnamon buns and virgin pina coladas. It was yum.
