I don't know much of anything, but I'll ask some questions and maybe get the ball rolling.

You currently have no heat?
Do you have blankets or tents to keep warm until you have heat?
How cold is it going to get in the next couple months?

You have the stove but haven't installed it yet?

What kind of resources do you have? Brick? Fire brick? Cement block? Exhaust pipe? Welder? Rivets? Drill?

A few more details about size, availability of fuel etc will help others to assist.

Hi, Tyler  Welcome to the forum!

I took the liberty of looking up your Logwood 1269e wood stove:

The US Stove Company US1269E is a rustic, heavy duty, cast iron constructed, wood stove that is ideal for any rugged outdoorsman, those with a nostalgic taste, or someone simply looking for reliable, cost efficient, heating. Inside this rugged exterior is a modern 2020 EPA certified stove providing a clean burning heating solution. It is perfect for log cabins, large garages and shops. This stove is durability defined. Tested and certified to U.L. 1482 by Warnock Hersey international for greater peace of mind and safety assurance. It has unequaled life expectancy and is easy to use

Is there any more information that you feel might help?

I put a layer of brick on the floor, then covered that with tin.
I also put a layer of tin behind it with an airspace between it and the wall.

I remember the first time I got my woodburner working in my house.
The first fire, I remember feeling like a caveman.
"Me have fire in cave".  "Me warm, me cook food".
Having a hot fire going, with some food cooking on it, in a warm house during a brutally cold blizzard is still one of my favorite feelings.

Glad to hear you have some of the most expensive parts gathered together already.
I do like the magic heat I put in the chimney.
It pulls heat out of the air leaving the burner and starts heating the place before the mass of the woodburner gets warm enough to heat the place up.

Tyler, sorry to hear you're in a bad situation.

Is your wood stove intended for short-term emergency use?

Your stove isn't rated for use in a mobile home. If you're planning a permanent installation it probably won't pass a Code inspection and your insurance company may not accept it.

The owner's manual with installation notes is here: https://www.usstove.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2018/10/1269e-use-and-care-manual-1.pdf

Tyler, we have a stove that looks like that unfortunately, our house ended up too small for it.

I know nothing about an air kit though my suggestion is to contact a local store that sells wood stoves to ask about the air kit.

I do know that the chimney needs to be a certain amount of feet above the roof.  I think I remember it is ten feet though that might vary from state to state or county to county.

You mention "for it to pass code" and that is something that maybe city to city or county to county.

My suggestion would be to ask at the local wood store dealers they possibly might know that.

Knowing what county/state you are in would help in case we have a member in that area.
