I think they are great, I didn't see anything wrong with them except the price, that's a little over double what I paid for the first deck.  over my budget

Maybe too nit-picky, but possibly consider rewording the 'We Empower' second sentence to "Only together can we make that possible." ?

I like the soft, clean, unclutteredness of the new site very much. Here are my suggestions:

I would centre "Permaculture" above "Playing Cards" or centre "Cards" below "Permaculture Playing". At first glance I thought the latter, but now think the former would make more sense. Either would be more visually appealing to me.

"Get them here" button centred in the background box.

Instead of "You're here because...", maybe "Are you here because...?".

Fit "Maybe that special, etc" in one line.

"You've always found something useful to gift them, and you’d like to do the same this year, but so far your efforts have not been fruitful." Also, why italics for this line?

"You imagine the moment they open your present and want to see excitement,  joy and a sincere appreciation for your thoughtfulness."

"Paul and Alex, with the help of some other folks, created these permaculture playing cards."

Centre align the text under "one card at a time".

"On 26 of the cards there are hidden names of some of the friends and family who helped bring this project to life."

"Each card is adorned with beautiful illustrations and handwritten-style text, introducing a plant, idea, or person of permaculture."

"These cards can be educational, inspirational and a great conversation starter."

Under "We Educate", "A cleaner, healthier, more fulfilling life." or "A life more healthy and fulfilling." The text title in that bubble seems a bit low in relation to the other two.

Maybe centre the two columns of card names under the title with little cards down either side?

That's all, folks! Hope I get a set for Solstice!

Looking at this page I ask myself one question - how many cards are related to gardening, and how many to non-gardening topics.
Also, personally, I devote my time to tell people that permaculture is not "the different way of gardening". It is something bigger.
I am not sure if this page helps in that.
BUT, if it turns out that thanks to such narration the cards will reach bigger number of people, I will be more than happy.

All printed products are inflating in price due to the cost  of producing quality cardboard. Even Hasbro is cutting back on its use.

The fact that this deck contains quality information, good art and is usable in a bunker without electricity during the zombie apocalypse makes them worth every penny.

Love the breezy clean design and open use of negative space.

Its cute that you still cater to Internet Explorer foibles, I guess I can't fault you for that.

The page would render faster if published via HUGO for a static page like this but if your only comfortable with Wordpress then it makes sense to stick to what you know.

Is there a reason the icons mouse-over to file names rather than disability descriptions?

Overall looks great, and with several of the grammar improvements that were mentioned earlier, I have a few thoughts to make it even more fantastic:

1.  Suggested modification of "A gift the gardener in your life will appreciate" into:
 - "A gift for any gardener to cherish"  or
 - "A gift for the gardener who also likes to play out of the dirt" or
 - "A unique gift for the gardener in your life" or
 - some hybrid of above

Current sentence is grammatically off

2.  Suggested reframe of the heading "Spreading Permaculture Knowledge" into "Growing Permaculture Knowledge" ?

3. "We have just the thing for you" could have more impact as something like "We have unearthed the solution for you" or simply "We have the solution for you" ("the thing" is weaker language)

4. The statement: "Paul and Alex, with the help of some other folks created the permaculture playing cards."  needs a comma after "folks".

Hope this is helpful. Thanks for the opportunity, this was fun.

The page looks really nice! I’m on Mobile so there were a few things that seemed weird to me. The pink line cut through the middle of the seal/stamp and the close up of the example cards were cropped weird. I’m not sure if that was intentional.

As for wanting to buy the cards, the issue I’ve had (because these cards have tempted me several times) is having to buy 2 decks. I would personally rather buy one at $30 or maybe $35, just to not feel like the second deck is just sitting there. I get that it’s good for infecting minds with permaculture 😉 but it has actually stopped me from buying because I’d feel bad not having someone in mind to give a second deck to.

But I do think using a gardener gift idea is smart! Might reach more people.

I tihnk some or all of this was mentioned before but I add them to show those were things another person also stumbled over:

- Italics for this sentence - why? You always found something useful to gift them, and you’d like to do the same this year, but all your efforts so far turned unfruitful.

- You imagine the moment they’d open your present... I would use: You imagine the moment they open your present...

- On my screen the lines we educate - we inspire - we empower are not on the same level and it's not even that the middle line is higher and the other two lower which would also provide some symmetry. I would put these lines and also the symbols above on the same level and then the text below maybe centered both in the vertical so the middle of all three texts is on the same level and also texts and lines centered in the middle under each symbol (they already are the latter I think)

They look great, yes, If I wasn't broke, I would buy them. Also, I agree that not everyone needs 2. Maybe just one deck? That would be a great idea.

One thought that I had is to reconsider the images used. The copy of this page is for a non-gardener buying a gift for a probably non-permaculture, possibly miracle gro gardener. I think which cards are shown on the page could better match this intent.

The cards the non-gardener sees are:
1. Rocket Mass Heater (not a gardening thing)
2. Masanobu Fukuoka (never heard of him)
3. Solar Dehydrator (barely a gardening thing)
4. Dandelion (a WEED!?)
5. Honey Bees (oh I like these!)

So I would consider replacing these with more beginner friendly cards that build into permaculture specific topics:

1. Apple tree. Everybody loves apple trees.
2. Rhubarb. They’ve eaten this before (albeit only in pie [but we love pie])
3. Hugelkultur. They don’t know this word, but they see plants growing. Maybe plant people know about this.
4. Food Preservation. Oh, they’ll be growing so much they’ll need to save some.
5. Dandelion. They wonder why it’s there. Maybe you can eat it?

I fully agree with Jim above. That was what I noticed and came to mention. Thanks Jim for saving me some time! Otherwise great site and idea.

I "liked" the observations and opinions I appreciated in other responses. Mine focuses on these three paragraphs:
This is a complete deck – 52 playing cards, 2 jokers and one bonus thank you card for all the supporters of the project. On 26 of the cards there are hidden names of some of the friends and family that helped to bring this project to life.

Each card is adorned with beautiful illustrations and hand-written style text, introducing a plant, idea, or concept of permaculture.

These cards can be a great conversation starter, educational, and inspirational.

I would put the first paragraph last, going from the big picture to the less important details.

I just noticed that y'all have designed and printed playing cards. Bravo. I missed the boat in the design process though. I REALLY want to know if the moon sign elements, which have correspondent esoteric significance to the suits... or any other correspondent like, minor arcana study, went into choosing what subject was going to go on what card.  I am currently deep into a design project that is pulls together these kinds of things... among other reasons, i am really excited about these cards. I can't actually afford a deck  at the moment, so i am really grateful that i can at least  look at the list of what topics are on what cards... I will be analyzing that list alongside my other books and notes today to see if any correspondences happened, whether it was on purpose or just a "coincidence" ...   i already noticed that the ten of swords is in fact paddock rotation... right off the bat, from that, it looks like somebody did their research to put Those two together.   its in the cards <3  brilliant! Nice work! Very inspiring and lovely.

It appears that in Firefox, there is an issue with the rendering of the top line tags/topic links - screenshot labeled "firefox" but in brave it renders correctly - however in brave (shields up) the graphic of the card deck took over 45 seconds to load (instant on firefox)
