The pig. There are more uses for the pig after I caught it. Ham, Porkchop, Bacon, Pulled Pork, etc :)

Yup;  no contest, corraling the pig wins!
They are suckers for new chow!

As far as the billy goat goes... well he will come back eventually, we hope.

I'm biased, I have had a buck who didn't like me who had a tendency to spool up charging me. The trick I learned is to guide the ram attempt away from yourself.

The feed bucket trick works for pretty much any livestock, and I have does that buck will come back to, lol. I'll take the pig!

Pig as I prefer it to eventually eat.  Growing up we were farrowing 150 sows when I was in jr high.( and feeding babies to market size) so I have way more pig experience besides.  8th grade year I came home each day from school and ground 2 grinder mixers full.(if pure grain that was about 9600 lbs per load)

Country oriented nerd with primary interests in alternate energy in particular solar. Dabble in gardening, trees, cob, soil building and a host of others.

A pig for sure, you can get them to come with food, but a billy goat is like a psychopath you never know how bad it can get and they stink so bad!

I am not fond of greasy and I am not fond of stinky billy goats.
