I have no idea how to utilize hdtv, how would I watch them?

I have an iPhone and an iPad.  No television.

I have friends with hdtv and similar interests.  Would I somehow be able to rake my links to their system?

Does the whole movie (x3) be stored on my system?  (I don’t have cloud either).  I fear I don’t have adequate storage!  If they are stored on Permies, how long would I be able to count on accessing them?

Thanks very much for the help and the opportunity!

Digital market videos?

Some listings are for streaming,  like YouTube, but a different platform.

Others are for downloads.

I don't know if there are still any with dvds.

Is there a specific item you are wanting to know more about?

Yes, thanks, R, I am interested in the set of three sent out either in the daily ish, or its own marketing post.

Freaky cheap heat, or you know RMH

Earthworks before gardening

And I think the third one is on hugelkulture.

I can try to go find the link again…. I thought the products would be named because I was on that page when I clicked the link to ask a question

R, I have just tried to locate the bundle of 3 , and could not do it.

What else I remember, it wasn’t just Paul Wheaton , also Geoff Lawton and Nick (Neal? ) Bernal or something like that.

Each costs 15, but today when you buy all three you get them for 30.

But you see this is a perfect example of why I didn’t buy it… can’t find it again, misunderstand how it is supposed to work

Sigh

Is that enough information to give me some help?

Thanks again

T

Because whether i buy these or others, not knowing if I will be able to watch them is a barrier for me, and possibly others.  So if you can teach me what I need to know, or answer my questions about HDTV, then I become a potential buyer.

Thank you Tina, I looked, and that’s not what I was looking at this morning.  It’s possible in scrolling down this morning I missed something…

I got an invitation to buy Freaky cheap heat”. HDTV

Way at the bottom is a set of 3  HDTV movies, and I may have thought the RMH movie was included in the three movie bundle.

I know there’s a movement away from DVD s, and I would prefer dvds but the ones you sent are not the ones….

I was ready this morning to give hdtv a try, and you can see my questions above.

Now?  I’m tired, my eyes are tired from trying to read screen, and every time I try to find what I thought I saw this morning I find something “new”.  (Thats an old lady joke😊. Maybe you’re not that lucky yet.)

So it’s clearer to me than before that I need to know more about HDTV before I buy anything in that format.

I wonder, if I got the hdtv would it be in the form of a link?  Could I drag and drop the link onto a thumbdrive?  Then what would I have on the thumb drive?  The link or the movie?  Is there a way to put the movie on a thumb drive?

Anyway, Tina and R, I will check back tomorrow and see if either of you
have had time to take this mass wriggling worms and persuade  them to straighten themselves out long enough for me to understand the system.

Thanks

It sounds kinda like the World Domination Gardening DVDs. This link has DVDs and other methods of watching...after the description.

I'm guessing you saw Paul's monthlyish:

permies monthly-ish
Mon, Mar 11, 9:56 AM (20 hours ago)

e finished the movie "Freaky Cheap Heat"! We're gonna bump up the price in a few days, so get it while it's fresh! :)

https://permies.com/fch

Once you watch it, please reply in the thread to tell me what you think. We put a lot of work into this, and while I think it turned out really good, I do have some bias.

The next devious plot on world domination.

I think people choose to not garden because they think:

- it is hard
- you need an established garden
- it's expensive
- it's time consuming
- there is too much to learn
- it produces very little actual calories

I have a lot of plots and schemes in the works surrounding this. And one of these involves YOU! I want 100 people to mark out 200 square feet of dirt, grow food and video how easy it is/was. If we get enough video footage, we will make a movie!

So far we have ten people! And people are posting pictures and figuring out the details.

Beau beat me to it with the monthlyish, but I can try to clear out the HDTV mystery.

The movies are HD Streaming versions, which means you can watch them right here in Permies, with whatever device you are using to browse this site.

Basicly, after you purchase, you will get an email that has the link to the thread where you can watch the movies. The movies will be just like youtube videos are, you just click play and enjoy the movie!

You cannot download them to your computer or a thumbdrive. When you are logged in to Permies, you can watch the movies wherever you are.
